When looking at writing a job description, there are many different things that need to be taken into consideration to guarantee that it attracts the best travel candidates suitable for the role. You need to sell your travel company and the role itself.

Firstly,

Sounds obvious but the first and most important part of the job description is the title of the role being advertised. The title of the role should precisely reflect the role that the successful applicant will be working to. Following the current title of the role being set, a short, brief and to the point description should be attached so that viewers will get an instant feel of what the role is about.

After composing the job description, take some time to re-read it and make sure its appealing to the eye. Using bullet points to list parts of the job description can make it easier for viewers to skim read through and see if it’s anything that they would be interested in applying to.

Using direct language and avoiding words such as ‘sometimes’ and ‘possibly’ informs the firm idea to the viewer that you know what you’re looking for and what you expect.
